This workshop is for you! In this session, you'll be led through a hands-on activity: learning how to connect a user-friendly development board (the Adafruit Circuit Playground) to your Apple or Android phone via bluetooth for remote control purposes. Though we won't complete a full project, you'll walk away with: An understanding of what electronics boards like the Adafruit Circuit Playground are, how they work, and how they can integrate into sewing projects to create wearable technology designs like this one. How to upload software to the board, and how to understand which code snippets to use. How to control the board's LEDs remotely via bluetooth, using your phone.  Note: no previous electronics experience is required! Please bring your phone to this workshop, and register here or using the QR code in the flyer below.   Design Center Barnard College barnard-admin@digitalpulp.com America/New_York public
