Learn the fundamentals of bookbinding with a hardcover using tools in the Design Center. In this workshop, we will teach how to assemble a text block and cover, sew a text block, and create bookcloth using recycled linen from FABSCRAP. We will also discuss ways to customize future projects through embroidery, screenprinting, paper marbling, and more. With these skills, you can create a journal, sketchbook-or even bind your thesis or manuscript.
