Laser Cutter Booking

The Laser Cutter is available for bookings on weekends and evenings by undergraduate students only. Additional walk-in hours are available Monday-Friday between 11am-4pm. You can make a booking below, up to three days in advance of the appointment.

Please note these policies about laser cutter bookings:

1. Appointments are 40 minutes long followed by a 5 minute grace period. Incomplete cuts will need to be terminated when your appointment time ends. You may ask a staff member to show you how to calculate the cut duration before you begin, to avoid wasting time or material.
2. If you are 5 minutes late to your appointment, your appointment will be canceled and another user will be allowed to use the laser cutter. 
3. Each student may sign up for a maximum of one booking per 3 day period. For additional laser cutting time, walk-ins are available Monday-Friday between 11am-4pm. 
4. Your Illustrator file must be ready before your appointment time begins. For help preparing your file, please arrive early to your appointment and ask a staff member for assistance.
