This workshop will instruct on how to do basic repairs on wooden items brought in by participants. The workshop will begin with a demo on repairing a wooden object. Common wooden objects that need repair include furniture and decorative items such as wooden picture frames. Make sure to bring a (small) wooden piece you would like to repair! All tools necessary for repairs including glue and sandpaper will be provided.
This workshop is part of the Design Center's Repair Workshop Series, an initiative begun in collaboration with Barnard Sustainability. This wood repair workshop will be led by Michael Banta, Barnard College's Department of Theater Production Manager, with support from Design Center Team staff.
