My name is Gelmira Gourgel, I am a graduate student at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation (GSAPP) pursuing a Master’s in Architecture. I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati school of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning.
My studies and research approach to architecture uses fractalization systems, and material exploration to generate soft structures and spaces that optimize the human experience both physically and intellectually.
In addition I’m also a collaborator for the Title Magazine where I do fashion work, lead projects, creative direction for editorials and design garments.
