Hyunsoo Alice Kim is a multidisciplinary artist, researcher, and educator. She holds a BFA in Textiles from Rhode Island School of Design and an MS in Textile Design from Philadelphia University. She is a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.C.T) candidate, a former makerspace fellow, and an adjunct faculty at Teachers College, Columbia University.
Among her expertise are textiles (sewing, screenprinting, heat press, dye sublimation printing), Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), digital fabrication (lasercutting, digital embroidery, vinyl cutting, 3D printing), woodworking, molding, casting, and biofabrication.
