Isabel is a senior majoring in Art History and Visual Art. With intensive training in figure drawing and painting, she most enjoys creating portraits that tell stories of personal empowerment. She has served as the student advisor on a public art selection committee and as the student administrator for the Barnard International Artist Series.
This is Isabel’s third year working at the Design Center. Her specialties include embroidery, sewing, printmaking, and stained glass cutting and soldering. She is currently studying medieval art and technologies. Ask her about medieval manuscript illumination and book-making!
