Thomas is currently enrolled in the MA Instructional Technology & Media program at Teachers College, Columbia University. While attending TC, they completed a makerspace studio course at their Thingspace. Their invaluable experience inspired motivation to continue creating and problem-solving. They are particularly drawn to inquiry-based learning and believes it fosters a makerspace mindset. They hope to encourage others to experiment with the affordances of creative technologies by utilizing a makerspace mindset.
